I have a 942 , 811 (HD), and a non-HD 301 (I think) hooked via a DP34.
More and more frequently the TV2 from my 942 will get an error screen stating the signal is lost and it is acquiring signal. Except it never does. When I try to run a diagnostic, it is unable to test the switch, ot it test the switch as being working fine.
The only way I can get the picture back is to reset the receiver, either by unplugging, or by pressing the power off button for 10 secs.
I checked the cables and they are all fine. Plus the fact that it is fixed 100% of the time when I hit reset seems to indicate a tuner problem or a software problem.
Has anyone had this issue?
Is my receiver failing ( I lease, I believe), or is there a fix to this problem?
The TV1 tuner of the 942 has shown no problems, neither do my other two receivers.
Any assistance would be great, thanks.
