622 remote code for Xbox?

I have a 622 and I'd like to program the VCR function to control my Xbox (original ver, not the 360). Has anyone found a code to do this?

Maybe all you need is to purchase one of these off ebay:

Then browse through the entire list of codes to see if it turns the xbox on or off. Also...

I read this on an Xbox Media Center page:

"The XboxMediaCenter Project:
Other non-GUI features, functions and options:
- Fully re-mappable keys for DVD Remote and the game-pad (via keymap.xml)
(inc. possibility to map and use all RCA-5 IR codes from a universal remote)"

So you may have to install Xbox Media Center... after moding your xbox of course. Then you could try programming an IR universal remote (eg, the ones that come with Dishnetwork recievers) to RCA codes.

Here's a link that may be totally useless. I'm not sure how IR codes work. They may be specific to the remote control brand. http://www.krellonline.com/pdf/IR_CODES_92904.pdf If so, then you'll need to go through the codes that were listend in the 622 manual and find some RCA ones there. I'd be curious to see if they are the same numbers as listed on that krellonline site...
