I'm on AT&T Dish Network on the Eastern Arc with at250 + gold hd. speed + fx hd were in the 'all chan' list in red in the 9xxx range. I tried checking switch to no avail. I called up support and spoke with a woman; she didnt' seem to understand that fx + speed were uplinked today. i told her they were in red, and i should be getting them; she re-authed my recievers and after a reboot on the one i was watching, everything's golden.

Heh, remember, we weren't supposed to get any new HD after Jan 1 2009. Speed HD would have been nice though... Oh well, still not enough reason to upgrade my programming.

Some are probably going to downgrade now that they are getting 'logo'.

Edit: Called back got another CSR, he had the same routine. I asked him to send a hit. He said he would but that it would not do any good because FX and Speed were not going live until May 13th. Five minutes later, I am watching Speed and FX.

They just make up stuff to tell you. It's amazing.

If you do not have the channels and you have the correct package:

Call Tech Support, not the regular CSRs.

Ask for an authorization re-hit.

PS It sounds like none of you guys have seen Slumdog Millionaire....

Another thing to try is unplog the receiver (when not recording).

PS Dish Latino Max HD Ultimate has all five channels. Fashion TV HD has been full HD the whole time (not a surprise since the channel is available in Europe for months and is very recent programming). Speed HD has NASCAR in full HD. Mav TV HD has zoomed SD in 16x9. FX HD and Logo HD have so far been all SD, but both are not stretched. :up

PS Fashion TV HD originates as 25 fps, so I wonder what E* is doing to adjust it to 30 fps... some of the motion has a judder effect... also, I just checked and the programming is different from the Fashion TV SD channel, so in that respect it is like the old version of FoodTV HD.

While I have SpeedHD, but the program guide is not populated after 3:30pm today. It says "No Info Available". I only see the current program, and it says "NASCAR Racing".

How do I get the programs to show up so I can schedule record my formula one? I have reboot my receiver already.. Thanks!

btw, this is also true for FX-HD.. "No Info Available"..

I could not get speed HD, Called Dish and the rep. did not think it was up. I told her Satelliteguys said it was and people were watching it. After I told her some people were getting it with a rehit, she did that and in a couple of min it was on my TV. The scheduled recordings were all on the non HD channel. I tried resetting the 622 with no luck. I deleted all the timers on the SD and reset them for the HD version.

I am now happy with dish as I have the channels I want in HD. If they would carry the Braves games that are on WPCH like D* does all would be great.

You can always do the automated rehit via the phone system.

Is this a different number?

I talked to a CSR and she said they would send a reauthorized hit but is has been over two hours and still no Speed HD or FX HD.

I am in the Atlanta market, and Dish does give us WPCH in HD (Channel 17). Are you out of market?

Its been a while but you tell the dish phone system you have an error message, give it the error number reported on the not subscribed message, when it asks tell the computer its a channel you should receive and it will send a rehit.

Well I haven't gotten home yet to check out my receivers, but I did try the new dish remote access.... pretty cool. That said, the new HD weren't listed there yet. When BET came on line, I had to have them rehit it, so I'm anticipating the same this time.

I have Classic Silver 200 with HD, and getting SpeedHD and FX-HD

I have read that Dish Absolute and TurboHD does not get these new channels. I cannot confirm..

Its been a while but you tell the dish phone system you have an error message, give it the error number reported on the not subscribed message, when it asks tell the computer its a channel you should receive and it will send a rehit.

Or .... *gasp* .... just wait. They will show up, it just may take the overnight restart/download.

Then again, since so many of Dish's uplink people "monitor" this site, they're already aware of this "issue" by now and will do something about it (right ?).

I finally emailed Dish last week to request SPEED HD. If I had known they were just waiting to here from me, I would have done that months ago! Sorry guys. All kidding aside, while I am a happy camper, I feel for you Turbo folks getting screwed over again.
