3rd Hopper install questions

I have a question thinking of adding a 3rd Hopper before the price increase next month. So my question is How much does dish charge to come out and install a 3rd one. Just the install charge.

If you know how to set up your Dish system for a third Hopper you could just do it and call Dish and tell them to get you up and operational. http://dishdepot.com/dish_receivers.jsp still has the Hopper with Sling for $199 with free shipping.

Yep, another member with 3 Hoppers. I just did the install myself and then called and asked for initialization. No problem the CS said and I was up and running in about 30 minutes.

And there's the problem. Never take the word of a CSR either on the phone or in a Chat. DIRT will give the best answer, along with others here. I can't tell you how many posts I have read of people with three and even four Hoppers. But you do generally need to purchase them after the second one.

You'll need two DPP44 switches (or a DPP44 + DPP33) and a second node in addition to the receiver. If Dish includes these their install would be far less expensive than a self-install.
