Question on what could be causing a 301 Receiver to be losing signal. The receiver will be showing the picture then it will suddenly drop off with the message popping up that the signal was lost and that it was trying to reconnect.....will then reconnect then operate either seconds or minutes (varies) then will pop up again loss signal. The LNB was replace 2 weeks ago and retunned by dish after having problems with signal strenght for the 2 weeks prior- at the same time it was replaced they retunned the position to maximize the signal strenght. Worked fine for 2 weeks when it started this erratic operation.

Do you have only 1 receiver? The next service call should be free seeing DISH didn't correct the problem. Could be cabling/ground block or even receiver. You should have a 90 day warranty on last service call.

Yes only 1 receiver - otherwise I would test to see if it was the receiver or something else..........they replaced the grounding block the last time they came - and we will be calling the repair guy back to try and fix the problem again.

I sure hope it has RG-6 cable in line.
