Miami was simply overwhelmed by LSU. It seems LSU was quicker and better at almost every phase of the game.

VA Tech looked to be heads and shoulders better than FSU.

Best looking teams in week one? Bama and Oklahoma. Worse? Can we say Penn State? Probably not. It seems they were not prepared or just overlooked App State.

You COULD say that about Penn State, however ya gotta remember that its only week one, lots of seems have trouble in 1st few weeks.

Actually all of those would have name recognition without the current coaches, and would probably be ranked with a small amount of success.

That's basically the blue bloods of college football.

Urban Liar wont be there much longer. Parents are not going to trust him and recruiting will suffer. That will be his demise.

Urban will be fine ... and there as long as he wants.
How many recruits bolted over this ?

Remember, Urban didn't commit any crime.
He didn't assault anyone ...
He wasn't drunk and driving ....
Or any other crimes.

The only reason this is an issue at all is because of how it would look to the major university.

If it were a lesser school, nothing would have came from it.
Had it been at Bama, it would have been swept under the rug and nothing would have been addressed.

I watched a good bit of that Cincinnati/UCLA game. The Bruins looked awful and Chip looked baffled. I expect the Sooners to easily win that one.

No, not really. You never know about the Aggies though, especially this early in the season and with Fisher being there now. I think it’s the only interesting T25 matchup of this weekend, that’s all. Cupcake week for all the others.

Great game, but will be a tough season for Nebraska to now have to break in a walk on backup QB if Martinez is done.
