The SEC as a whole had a pretty solid recruiting "season", with Bama once again coming out on top. The team to watch the next few seasons is IMO Ole Miss. They should be very good again next season, and are getting set up with talent for several years out.

Looks like Baylor is finally being forced into playing an OOC game against a real team.

Granted it's only Ole Miss, but all of Vandy's open slots are probably already taken.

Baylor really could have made a statement by scheduling a school like......say Ga. Tech

As of now it is a good game to schedule as both schools have been on a roll. I can not speak for Baylors outlook as I do not know who they lost or are returning, but Ole Miss has a decent amount of starters coming back, Kelley being one of them, and have recruited very well lately under Freeze.

All of this could obviously change, but it is a game I look forward to.

We'd probably still beat them

Same as we did Miss St., Vandy, and the other bottom feeders of the SEC in the last couple years.

Several years ago, Baylor did schedule Duke for 2017. Too bad they didn't know at the time that Duke would actually be good in something that wasn't basketball.

Still don't have to deal with a Conference Championship game.

If Baylor has it's way, they wouldn't have to deal with Conference games. They're unapologetic in their pathetic OOC schedule. At least other schools try to pretend they schedule good schools on occasion.

As it is, the Big 12 forced Baylor into scheduling a Power 5 school.
