2014 MLB Hall of Fame elections

Speaking of 4 Man rotations .....
I really wish teams would go back to them.

Never gonna happen. Everyone is fixated on pitch counts and more starts would equal that many more pitches. All of this goes back to protecting your investment. They don't want to be paying pitchers who have burned out arms.

You could also end up with MORE WINS at the end of the year ... eliminate the 5th pitchers spot and your rotation turns over that much quicker.

I bet you could get at least 5 more wins a year that way, maybe 10.

Now if your staff is 5 deep then it's no big deal, but most aren't.

Tigers goes 3 deep, 4 last year for the most part when Fister was pitching you could count on the top 4 every week.

The 6 members of the class of 2014 have made their selections for the logo inclusion on their Hall of Fame plaque:

Joe Torre – Yankees

“For those whose careers were built significantly among multiple teams, not having team logo is equally acceptable.”
