2014 FIFA World Cup Official Thread

If an employee has 3 incidents of biting workmates, he´d quickly be dismissed from the company.
If in a business meeting one of your employees bites an employee from the "opponent company", you´d take serious action to get rid of that employee.

Would you let an employee continue working in your company, when you don´t know if he´ll bite again another person ? Don´t think so.

In this case this is his job, the other players are workmates, even though from an "opponent company".
Not only FIFA should ban him for life, Uruguayan federation should also ban him from ever playing in Uruguay and in their national team, English league should also ban him from ever playing on their league ever again.

So do you guys have any guesses for the US game? Should the US and/or Germany push for a win or will they play for a draw ;)

Honestly, I won't say anything fishy concerning what happens off the field but honestly, I'm not expecting the most exciting game tomorrow. Both teams only need a draw to enter. In the WC, if this is the scenario, then I wouldn't put winning as my first priority but play in a winning fashion to advance whether it should be a win or draw. I think the Germans and Americans will enter into Recife tomorrow with a winning mind but not much at stake really. At first I thought the schedule screwed the US big time with Germany at the end but I find it actually very lucky for the Outlaws. However, I will contradict a part of what I am saying. The US right now are in a weird spot. Their chances of getting in is very likely but then should they win to play the runner up of Group H (South Korea, Russia, or Algeria) or play against Belgium, whom everyone is predicting to win the group? The three candidates for runner-up aren't known for their consistency and Belgium is a very dangerous team down the road. Thoughts?

Prediction: 1-1 draw. Everyone wins. Germany will probably go with a more lighter lineup and the US might go with a very similar lineup that they used for Portugal. For the Ghana-Portugal game, I can see a draw or Portugal giving everything they have and win 2-2.

0-0 ...UNLESS someone really tries to score, then all bets are off.
