2013 NCAA Basketball Tournament

That was an ugly and very physical game. They held on...GO BLUE!

On a negative side...yes, that was pretty ugly and we can certainly (Burke and Stauskas) play better and hit free-throws (everyone). On a positive side, if we play better then we can beat Louisville. To be fair, a lot had to do with Syracuse who plays a very ugly game.

Michigan should have won this game by at least 10 points ...
Syracuse is not allowed to defend a Free Throw.
M must have given away at least 10 points at the line.
Another performance like that and it WILL be ugly.

Well..as I said, good 3point shooting does not beat a good zone, a center that can pass and shoot does. The kid hit the Js when he had the open shoot and had a season high 6 assists. Carter-Williams forced his shot all night and Sutherland completely disappeared in that game. Though the two horrible blocking calls did not cost Syracuse the game, they sure as $h!7 help Michigan a ton.

If you thought the 'Cuse defense was suffocating... Wait till you see Louisville's press.

The same was said about VCU's heralded Havoc defense...and Michigan shredded that. Offhand, I feel Michigan's offense matches-up much better against Louisville's defense than they did against Syracuse. We'll see tomorrow night. One thing we know for sure, Michigan had the harder road to the Finals: South Dakota State, VCU, Kansas, Florida and Syracuse.

Monday's game should be a Jim Dandy! :)

Free throws all most cost them, drove me crazy! And while yes Louisville is a great team, I think Michigan can hang and play well. Everyone talked about VCU and there defense, mighty Kansas and Syracuse and the zone, lets see what Monday night brings. Mcgary has been a factor as well as bench players coming up with big threes

Go Blue!
