2013 MLB Postseason

This stat is apropos of nothing, but I'll post it anyway because I like numbers. :)

The Red Sox are 4-2 all time in ALCS game 5's, and the Tigers are 1-2.

The three Red Sox games that I remember the most: 1986 vs. Angels, 2004 vs. Yankees and 2007 vs. Indians

Well, the Announcers are at it again and it just came on ...

Granted the Tigers Starting Pitching has been very good, with that being the main topic in most conversations ... they all seem to be forgetting that the Red Sox pitching has also been Very Good ...

Boston's Relief pitching has been outstanding ... I think the Tigers will have to get to the relief pitching of the Sox eventually If they are going to Win this series.

- Bogaerts will be the youngest player to start a postseason game for the Red Sox since a lefty pitcher named Babe Ruth in 1916.

Last night, I heard some trivia question about Red Sox players being involved in some kind of 1-0 game, and there were only three of them and the first one was Babe Ruth.

I remember a decade ago, someone was asking Pedro Martinez a trivia question about the old Red Sox, and before the questioner had gotten far enough into it so that anyone would have any idea what the question would be, Pedro interrupted him and said, "Babe Ruth, right? Every time anyone asks me a question about the old Red Sox, the answer is always Babe Ruth."

Terrible base running decision by Miggy especially with all his injuries. At least it didn't look like he hurt himself.

I think 3B coach may have cost us a run, waiting too late to put up a stop sign ... never should have considered having Miggy go all the way with his current injuries.

It looked like he had the stop sign up early enough to me. Miggy just ran through it like he used to do to Gene Lamont all the time.

It doesn't matter now but he could have easily still stopped at that point. Just because you round the bag doesn't mean you have to go all the way.

No matter who's fault it was it was sure an inning killer.
