And Peralta's and Miggy's fly-balls both went foul instead of in the bleachers. Well, that's only 1/3rd of the game. That double-play is going to spark a rally!!!

Coming into this game, I didn't buy into the theory that it was a must win for the Red Sox because of Scherzer and Verlander on the horizon. That said, because of the twin Cy's, the Tigers are very much alive win or lose tonight.
I thought he was safe too, until I saw the replay. If he had run straight to the bag he probably would have been safe.

I have to say that the Red Sox-Tigers series is more fun to watch than the Dodgers-Cardinals.
I have a beard that I have been growing since 2004. I use rubber bands to put my beard into a ponytail(9 rubber bands),otherwise with my long hair I look like Gandolf from The Hobbit/ROTR. However in honor of the Red Sox & their beards,I have my beard fluffed out like Brian Wilson of the Dodgers with 6 rubber bands holding the bottom. Go Sox!!!! I'll keep tugging my beard every time you score a run.
