Eight straight wins by the Tigers, tenth straight loss for the White Sox. Big series upcoming as Detroit heads to Cleveland. Both teams are playing extremely well.

I trust Smiley as much as any pitcher on the team.
I have no problem with it, my guess, he's giving Benoit the day off.

I'm glad the team was wearing their traditional home uniforms this afternoon. I do not like the home uniforms they wore last night with the world Tigers written across the chest - it looked just like the Chicago unis.

I just purchased tickets for Tuesday's game, 20 August, versus the Twins since my cousins didn't renew their luxury suite this year. I would like to attend the game on Sunday against the Royals, but I'll just play it by ear.
