2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Absolutely!!! However, there is no rational argument regarding Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final in my opinion. It is 1000000000000 times more intense than all other sports combined, and all other games ever played in these sports, throughout history to include professional, collegiate, high school, grade school, bush league, beer league, etc.). Of course, I may be just slightly biased. OK, perhaps it's only 1000000000 times better! :)

Bill, did you think at the start of the season these Bruins could make a deep run at the Stanley Cup?

I thought they'd be good this season, but not "On the brink of a Stanley Cup" good.

Honestly, I thought at the start of LAST season they had a shot. When they got knocked out of the '09 playoffs by Carolina in a devasting game 7 OT loss at home, many thought the '09-'10 season was the Bruins year...........but then "Philly" happened. I think my expectations were somewhat tempered this year, because of the back-to-back crushing playoff losses.

Also, with the Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox all one of the favorites to win their respective sports championships, the Bruins flew under the radar for much of the year.

Tim Thomas: "Hey Luongo, I would've stopped that one, and that one, and also that one, and again, that one.........."

Luongo has been night and day different at home and on the road this series. I've never seen such a metamorphosis.

That said, I have no reason to doubt Luongo won't be stellar back in Vancouver.

I don't know about that. I think the Bruins and Tim Thomas might have gotten into his head big time. This might be a bigger choke act than that of Lebron James in NBA Finals. Furthermore, he wouldn't have won the gold medal against Miller and the USA, if it hadn't been the awesome team of forwards and defensmen around him in the Olympics. The Sedins look like they are tired of the North American Game. The best thing the Canucks got going for them right now is the FANS....20,000 crazy fans indoors and another 100,000 on the streets. Win or Lose they might burn the city of Vancouver down. Should be an awesome 7th. game.

No Raymond for Game 7 , according to canucks.com

"Mason Raymond will miss Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals with a vertebrae compression fracture."

No way the Bruins are going to lose another 1 goal game in Vancouver. I predict I'm going to a Parade this weekend.

Yes they will, only it will be 3-2 Victory in OT for the Canucks, and if those Bostonians are true fans, they will have a parade anyways for the Bruins.

BTW, if the Canucks do win the Stanley Cup - Do they do a White House visit?

Wednesday- Stanley Cup Finals- Game 7
