2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The 64,000 dollar question is...What kind of game to expect this evening after a long 3-day rest? Will Vancouver come out rejuvenated and ready to take care of business? Or will Boston come prepared to administer another pummeling at the Garden?

I was ready to pick Boston to tie it up and force a 7th game Wednesday Night, until my spoiled Brother-In-Law and lifelong Bruin's Fan and Don Cherry Ass Kisser; got an early Father's Day Present. His wife and kids go bought him tickets two weeks ago on Stub Hub for tonight's games.
So...in that Case ....Canucks 4 Bruins 3 in OT, with Tim Thomas winning the Conn Smyth.

While I'm the first one to criticize the NBA and their scheduling, let's be fair here. The NHL Playoffs started three days BEFORE the NBA Playoffs, but the only way the NHL finishes before the NBA is with a Miami win tonight and a Vancouver win tomorrow night.

Just sayin'..............

One reason that happened, IMO- both conference finals ended in five games (first time since 1986 not one conf. Finals went at least six games) and thus the NBA Finals was moved up to 5/31 rather than 6/2

In comparison, last year, the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup on the day between games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals.

Watching tonights game makes me want the next season to get here really quick. I think I might just have to go down to next Friday's draft party to pass some time waiting. :D

4-0................composite score of 6-plus periods at the Gahden........Bruins 16, Canucks 1 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Wow! If this thing goes 7, the Bruins need to find a way to bring this intensity in Vancouver. I loved the camera shot of the Canucks crowd in the street. Stunned.

Twenty minutes away from arguably the most intense event in all sports.......Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals! :)

Are you a Season Ticket Holder?

Did I miss anything when I was gone?
