hahaha so after all of this, the SEC doesn't even want A&M. not that I can blame the SEC, they'd be a bottom tier SEC team

Also the presidents have an agreement not to invite a school from an existing SEC state. So I would assume Missouri would be the choice.

A&M would be bailing out on a lot of ESPN money to leave the Big-12 now, and they would have to divide up the SEC money into smaller chunks for more teams. I would think they'd wait until the Big-12 ESPN contract is up. Maybe that's what the negotiations are all about.
If and when the new teams join, expect the current contracts to be renegotiated. There is a "look in" window built in to the contracts for just that and from what I've read Slve had it moved up to next season. This whole mess is all about money, so they for sure aren't going to settle for less in that regard.
Expect the SEC tv contract to jump into the 4.5 to 5 billion range depending on what tv markets they add.
