2011 SEC Football (Home of 7 of 13 BCS Championships including the last 5)

i don't see the point of every team joining the SEC. it only makes it tougher for all of the schools involved.

hahaha so after all of this, the SEC doesn't even want A&M. not that I can blame the SEC, they'd be a bottom tier SEC team

Well it didn't exactly say that. I wish it had though, and not with disrespect towards A&M. I just dont want to expand I also know it will happen.

TAMU will vote tomorrow to leave the Big 12/10, than the SEC will extend an invitation. All this was today was a legal maneuver protecting the SEC.

Also the presidents have an agreement not to invite a school from an existing SEC state. So I would assume Missouri would be the choice.

I have a feeling you are right and hope not.

A&M would be bailing out on a lot of ESPN money to leave the Big-12 now, and they would have to divide up the SEC money into smaller chunks for more teams. I would think they'd wait until the Big-12 ESPN contract is up. Maybe that's what the negotiations are all about.

If and when the new teams join, expect the current contracts to be renegotiated. There is a "look in" window built in to the contracts for just that and from what I've read Slve had it moved up to next season. This whole mess is all about money, so they for sure aren't going to settle for less in that regard.
