What kind of question is that? Don't you LIVE in Miami??!!

You are assuming a bad test makes it automatic that they will be a bad or unsuccessful footbal player. And winning a Super Bowl has NOTHING to do with the test. And posted above, by Yaz... he did NOT get a 7 in his score....by the guy who GAVE the test. LMAO!

Winning a Super Bowl can correlates to how you score on the Wunderlick? ;)
there's a wink in HD's post. geesh.... anyway, Marino had high football IQ. not winning the superbowl had nothing to do with him but the team not being any good. when we did go with him in 84 it was purely on marinos arm. 49ers took out clayton and duper and that was it. we had nothing else. stayed like that till the day he retired. what a waste. i wish he would've gone to Pittsburgh when his contract was up. so if pryor is the next marino then you guys have one hell of a qb. just build a team around the guy if he's that talented.

things like the NFL combine and other tests seem like a waste of time to me. usually doesn't say much on how a player will turn out to be once they're in the NFL.

Matt Leinart scored a 35.
Ryan Leaf scored a 30.
Terry Bradshaw scored a 15.

Wonderlic results don't mean a lot.

While I agree, the Wonderlic test can't predict success in the NFL (notice my winky icon in my original post), Terry Bradshaw was hardly the main reason for the Steelers success during that era of dominance. But that's a different topic for a different day.

LOL and rightly or wrongly Bradshaw's intelligence was always in question. Didn't one player say he could not spell cat if you spotted him the C and the A or something? :D

I read an article that indicated Bradshaw's intelligence was normal, it was the fact that he suffers from ADHD...

The Steelers have a tradition for drafting QB's who are dumb as rocks. I'd love to see a spelling bee between Big Jen and Bradshaw someday. Just for comedic sake.

Miami of Ohio, is A LOT different from the OTHER Miami down south. People actually go to school to learn there, so don't be bashing Big Ben's education or intelligence until you've been tested first.

blah blah snip.......

OK, now YOU be a little realistic here. What type of degrees do those football players at "the u" graduate with?

And do football players go to "the u" to play football or to get an education? Now ask the same question about Miami of Ohio.

EDIT - since 2000 NFL draft - amount of players drafted by school

the u - 75
Miami of OH - 9

Football players do not go to Miami of OH hoping to go to the NFL, realistically.

(didn't want to continue OT, Sandra)

Like HOW many players do YOU think are taking astrophysics in division I football?!! MOST playing division I football are playing because they want to get to the NFL...INCLUDING Miami of Ohio players. MOST college football players have illusions of granduer...INCLUDING players from Miami of Ohio.

And since you are making fun of the supposed courses those football players are taking at The U....they are AT LEAST graduating at a 81% clip. Most of those other schools are barely hitting 70% taking the more than likely the same course those players at The U are taking....including YOUR Ohio State(63%).
