He wasn’t the same after that while Mark Sanchez, with similar experience and worse numbers, won under more stable management.

I seriously hope they are not trying to compare Sanchez and Henne ....
The numbers may be similar, but the Jets have been a MUCH better and STABLE enviroment for Sanchez than what Henne has to work with.

You can compare the QBs and their numbers.. But you CAN'T compare the teams, the organization nor the confidence they have as well as the confidence they have in their young QB because they will not put Sanchez in situations he cannot succeed.

Oh, trust me. I was the biggest Quinn supporter, but I've seen enough through 14 games to know he's not the answer.

14 games....THAT is your sample size to determine if he is capable of being AT LEAST a decent QB?! Sorry, but like I said, in average, it takes a QB about 3 season. You have to let him go through growing pains. VERY few QBs can start off as a good QB and stay that consistant....very few.

It has nothing to do about being a support and everything to do about letting a QB mature.

Perhaps. But I tend to think that you can tell right away if a QB has "it" or doesn't have "it". If you see "it", you continue on the path of development. If not, you cut your losses and move on.

Now, this Colt McCoy, wow. I think he has "it". But I'm going to hold my breath until after this year. :)

You have to wonder what's going on down in Miami.

Joe Robbie must be spinning in his grave.
the days post shula and marino have been disappointing. now its just pathetic. i'll keep saying it that Ross is a MORON. looks like droopy with that ugly face of his

The Dolphins new ownership is more concerned about famous part-owners than wins and losses.

YES!! agreed........ i will tell you that when the Tuna left you can see how things changed drastically. players started slacking off and so on. but thats about it because the best thing bill did was robbing miami out of plenty of money without having done much at all...... he left a pair of idiots running things. now you include a dumb ass owner and you got a recipe for failure.

I am sure there were plenty of QBs that didn't have "it" until they matured in the pro game. Once again, this microwaze society we live in where you have to results YESTERDAY.

how long do you think a qb needs salsa? imo after their second season of playing if they ain't got it then forget it.

I say they would need 2 seasons at least as a starter. The Raiders gave Jamarcus Fat-ass 2 1/2 season to get his sh** together and he didn't. Campbell had most of last year's starts and for the 1st time, he will have the same offense for 2 years in a row...wait till you see him this year.;)

Let's not get crazy now. The Mighty Quinn had his chance and blew it in Cleveland. He's no better than a backup in this league.

And somehow McDaniels thought that was good enough.

Result- trades Hillis for Quinn and a gallon of ice cream.

One of the new rules under the new CBA hit today... players who did not report who are under contract have lost a year towards free agency... which is what just happened to Chris Johnson who is holding out for a new contract. He could get a new contract, report tomorrow, and this year would not count.

This CBA is gonna be confusing for a couple of years. There is a different wrinkle almost every week.

Hey Ramy.....good luck with the musical QBs in Redskins-ville....

....this is looking like a merry-go-round like Denver. BOTH teams have listed the 1st depth chart and BOTH teams "projected starter" are listed as #2 QBs.

Mike Shanahan has made his strongest statement to date on his quarterback situation.

The Washington Redskins have listed Rex Grossman(notes) as the top quarterback on the first depth chart that has been released by the team. John Beck(notes) is listed as the backup even though most have suspected he would be the starter all along.

Rick Maese of the Washington Post cautions too much shouldn’t be read into the decision. It is interesting because some teams will list co-starters on their depth charts, especially early in training camp. Both quarterbacks are in the running for the job and only one of them can start in Friday’s preseason opener. It’s the performances in preseason that will truly shape the decision.
