Jason Garrett still saying he did the right thing by not using one of his TWO timeouts after the Cowboys completed a pass to the Cardinal 32 with 25 seconds left, when the game was tied at the end of regulation. He's still saying playing for a 49 yard field goal was the right thing to do. Bizarre.

Broncos jump to number "8" on the NFL.com Power Poll, and to "10" on ESPN Power Rankings.

Where you gonna rank them, Bill? Will they jump from the depths of the bottom 10 earlier in the season to the top 10?

You betcha, they've earned it!!

I'm sorry but the broncos might have won some games but honestly who did they beat, anyone with a winning record except the raiders?

3- Jets, Raiders, Bengals

And on a quick look, the Steelers have only beaten 3 teams with a winning record, Titans, Bengals, Patriots. And they are #3 and #5. Do they deserve it?

Looks like they actually have a weaker schedule than the Broncos.

When the broncos have the steelers, ravens and Bengals in their division then they can start pumping their chest. But they have the raiders, chargers and chiefs.

I don't think they are pumping their chest, and neither am I. I can't believe where they are. I was just comparing equal stats that you brought up.

Well, there's no divisional comparison there, of course....normally the Chargers are better than this year, Oakland is coming back, and well, KC.........maybe next year... And the Steelers lost twice to the Ravens this year....I'm sure you know that....

I thought you were talking about the entire schedule of who the Broncos beat with a winning record. Look at the teams the Steelers have beaten and those records.....not so great either. Currently both teams have each won 3 games vs. winning opponents.

That decision didn't really concern me. The decision to essentially "ice" his own kicker does though. He claims the ST coach said they "weren't ready", but if you look at Garrett's demeanor on calling the timeout, he wasn't in a huge rush/panic, which you would think he would be....

No every body is talking about tebow being the superbowl MVP and skipping Disney to go to the Philippines. I think he really hasn't proven anything yetexcept he can run. The steelers have proven they ate a good team year after year.

I would say he has proven himself as much as Big Ben did after 7 games his first season. If I recall, he had a pretty good year as a rookie.

Vikings DE Allen cops to low blow on ex-teammate Edwards

Jared Allen is a sack machine. He's also completely unafraid to hit a man where it hurts.

In a video that's made the rounds this week, Allen -- pressed into emergency long-snapping duties after an injury to Cullen Loeffler -- appears to punch Falcons defensive end Ray Edwards in a sensitive area during an extra-point attempt during the Vikings' Week 12 loss.

Surprisingly, Allen owned up to his low-blow behavior during a Tuesday interview with ProFootballTalk.com.

"Ray is obviously a former teammate and friend of mine," said Allen, who's second in the NFL with 14.5 sacks. "I told him before the snap that he's known for blowing up the long snapper on the field goal.

"So I told him: 'You run me over here, I'm going to punch you square in your wiener, dude.' "

And that, he did.

In an unprecedented move, the NFL has announced that they won't announce changes (if any) to the week 15 schedule until tomorrow morning. Under flex rules, the NFL has up to 12 days (which would have been today) to announce any changes to the schedule.

Apparently CBS (with Bob Kraft on their side) and NBC are in a battle for the Pats-Broncos game. They both want it BADLY, but I'd be shocked if NBC doesn't win this so the game can be shown in primetime.

Stay tuned......

Is this thread any different than ant of the football programs on the air these days?

Are there any Packer or Texan fans on this board?

I think I'm going to start following a better team. Since no one hear claims the Packers, I guess I'll take them. ;)

Na... just kidding. I'll always be the #1 Browns fan through thick or thin!!!
