And to think, two weeks ago, Montreal was down 3-1 to the Capitals.

Now, they are the 2006 Oilers reincarnated- superhuman goalie, scoring when necessary, blocking a ton of shots (though none of their defenseman are Chris Pronger-esque).

I have mixed emotions about this- I love a good cinderella story, but as a Sabre fans, I've never liked the Canadiens.

End of 1st: Flyers 1, Bruins 0

At least the Bruins were controlling the play in the last few minutes............hopefully it will continue!

The only word to describe the Eastern Conference playoffs- wacky.

A possible comeback from a 3-0 deficit, and a #8 seed in the conference finals.

Who wrote this script?

Montreal knocks out the defending Stanley Cup Champions!!

Meanwhile, the Flyers now lead the Bruins 2-0. :(

That leaves the #6, 7 and 8 seeds remaining in the East................unbelievable!!!

The Habs will take one of two paths from here on out:

A. Make the Cup Finals as an #8 seed ala the 2006 Oilers

B. Join the list of 'teams that had two seven-game series in the first two rounds, but ran out of gas in the third round' (See last year's Hurricanes, 2002 Leafs and Avalanche, 1993 Leafs)

These Habs are living proof that the Stanley Cup Playoffs are truly a second season.

I can't believe that we might see a team come back from 3-0 on Friday!

Talk about a tale of two conferences.

In the East, the top 4 seeds are out, a #6 or #7 seed will have home-ice advantage in the conference finals, and we may see an alltime chokejob.

In the West, things went as many expected, with the 4 top teams winning (yes, Detroit was the #5 seed, but most people had them beating Phoenix), and the top two teams won (Chicago continues to own the Canucks, Detroit's loss to the Sharks continues their Shannen Doherty curse), and their Conference Finals matches the top two teams, second and third overall, 113 vs. 112 points.
