2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The East has the #4, 6, 7 and 8 seeds remaining and the West has 1, 2, 3, and 5.

Is this the first time that every seed number has been represented in the first round?

And the road to the Eastern Conference title will run through Pittsburgh.

(If I'm the Penguins, I'd better take advantage of this)
I don't see Halek duplicating his performance against Pittsburgh...BUT who knows? Anyway, he is certainily "seeing the puck" and will have to have to play out-of-his-mind in order to beat the Penguins.

Round 2 playoff previews

Pens over Habs in 5- Emotional letdown for Montreal. Pittsburgh now has home-ice the rest of the way in the East. Plus, I don't think Montreal can get outshot every game and win- sooner or later, they're going to have to generate more shots than the opponent.

Bruins over Flyers in 6- Philly's goaltending seems shakier than the B's.

Sharks over Wings in 6- It's their time. They have home-ice. It's now or never.

Blackhawks over Canucks in 7- This will be an epic series, but I give Chicago a slight edge.
