2010 NCAA Football Season

Hey now, I'm havin a good weekend, My Buck's won, The Steeler's Won and the Lions Won :D

Oh wait, the Lions WON, but didn't get the W, compliments of the NFL Refs.
That hacked me off too. Unbelievably bad call by the refs.

Steelers win was nice though! That's 1 win without Big Ben. Dixon was dancing at the end! :)

I missed the call and haven't seen it on any of the summaries. Isn't "instant replay" supposed to prevent bad calls from happening?

I still blame William Clay Ford Jr.

Basically Johnson caught the ball in the endzone, both feet down and came to the ground, landed on his butt, reached the ball down to get up and they called it no catch.

Almost a nice weekend, Lions did get robbed!. But Michigan back in the top 25, Rich Rod though cant keep having Denard Robinson carrying 20 plus times!

I'll wait until Michigan actually beats someone. So far, the team has a very mediocre defense and we have absolutely no idea what the offense is like since Robinson handles the ball every play. As much as I like Robinson, he took a big shot against Connecticut...and he took another 2-3 good whacks and barely finished the game against Notre Dame.

Your right about the D, they did take some stupid penalties that almost cost that game. But man can Robinson move with the ball

But man can Robinson move with the ball
Which is a huge plus, but I just haven't seen anyone else who can move the ball. Just like you said...the kid is going to get hurt if he keeps running the ball 25+ times per game. It's a good thing they have three soft opponents coming up. Hopefully we'll see if someone other than D. Robinson can move the ball up-and-down the field, and the kid will limit running plays to under 15.

Run him till he gets killed. No, I'm kidding. I am sitting here with my shoelaces untied in this kid's honor. Most amazing two weeks I have ever seen by a single player. Beyond description. Almost 900 yds. of offense by himself. I heard after the game he raised the dead, (actually he did that during the game, the dead was the rest of his teammates), and then walked on water.:D

Two cupcakes next, so I don't see the "Denard" show slowing down, but I suspect the BIG 10 will pull the shoes off this kid.

Sloppy work by the rest of the team, but this sure has been exciting as all get out to watch.

GO BLUE!!!

I have a ton of things on my mind today after watching Michigan win like they did yesterday, and seeing the Lions lose like they did today.

You can't be a one trick pony and survive the Big Ten schedule, so this season is shaping up to be just like last year. Someone on that team needs to step up and show they can play, Shaw or Smith at running back, Roundtree, Stonum or someone at wideout.

Special Teams are a weakness and will cost us at least one game.

And until the defense proves they can stop someone when it matters, the offense is going to have to press the Denard Robinson button, xbox 360 style, just to win us some games.

Robinson showed me one time, made the decision early in the game, and threw down field when they pinched the corners in and blitzed. It was actually a very nice play and resulted in a touchdown.
The rest of the game, he tucked the ball and tried to run, with very little results.

ABOUT OHIO STATE: Ohio State is 53-5 at home since the start of the 2002 season and are looking to win their sixth consecutive Big Ten title this season. The Buckeyes have finished in the top 10 of the AP poll in seven of the last eight seasons and are the only team to have finished in the Top in each of the last five seasons. How good are they at shutting down the run and pounding it down opponents throats? Over their last six games, they've outgained the opposition on the ground by 1,138 yards. Last week, OSU opened the season with a 45-7 win over Marshall, rolling up 529 yards of offense and giving up their only points on a blocked field goal return for a touchdown.

Miami had 120 yards rushing today.
Bucks added 181 rushing yards.

Bucks last 6 opponents ?

Miami was not included as the game had not been played when this was wrote.

Marshall, Oregon, Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Minnesota 3 of them were in the Top 20 at the time.

Another intersting stat:

During the Tressell era, the Buckeyes have only lost TWO out of conference games at home.

Great win today jimbo for you and your buckeyes. You guys clearly dominated that game. I dont care what anyone else says, after that first quater it was all OSU, Miami showed they are not yet ready for the big game again.

Of course Miami was playing at the SHOE against a OSU Team with everything to prove. Against a Terrel Pryor with everything to prove. He and they did.

What about me? Where's my congratulations? ;)

And I agree with your game-day assessment. :D

They play down there next year.

Bucks REALLY need to crack down on the lack of KO and Punt coverage before it cost them a game.

Miami scored 14 points on returns and a FG and a TD is all they accomplished on Offense.

The Bucks D played very well inside the Red Zone.

I've heard their special teams are really young this year. In order to include everyone and get more of the roster experience, Tressel filled the special teams with rookies. I'd imagine he'll get more seasoned vets back on S/T from here on out...
