2010 NBA Playoffs

some moron working for the association decided it would be a great idea to schedule Game 3 of the WCF as the same time of the Lost series finale. ARGH

It's bad enough that the Suns and Lakers have eight and seven days off respectively before the start of their series, but now the NBA schedules games 2 and 3 of the WCF four days apart................typical dumb NBA scheduling!!

Anyway, here's the WCF schedule (ALL games on TNT/TNT-HD):

Game 1- Monday, May 17: @ LA- 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT

Game 2- Wednesday, May 19: @ LA- 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT

Game 3- Sunday, May 23: @ Phoenix- 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT

Game 4- Tuesday, May 25: @ Phoenix- 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT

Game 5- Thursday, May 27: @ LA- 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT

Game 6- Saturday, May 29: @ Phoenix- 8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT

Put that HR22-100 of yours to work and decide on what to watch, The World Champ Los Angeles LAKERS LIVE or a show that was recorded called LOST that is finally over :D

If the HR22 wasn't so painfully slow, I think I could deal with it:D
BTW, I can't miss the series finale :(

OK you can do Sportscenter then and watch the HIGH lights and instead watch Lost.
BTW: Since I never did see that show, and its the finale did they finally "FIND" them and that is why its over?

Great points. The more recent comparison, of course, is Michael Jordan. Did not win a championship until he was 27, in his seventh NBA season. And, Jordan's Bulls teams did NOTHING in the playoffs until another future hall of famer, Scottie Pippen, joined him in Chicago.

Lebron does not have any Scottie Pippens on the court with him, that's for sure. The Shaq who is out there now is a far cry from the hall of fame Shaq. He's a role player now. And the rest of the Cavs are a far cry from Scottie Pippen.

So far, I haven't recognized the Lebron James that has shown up in this series (with exception to Game 3). Here's to hoping tonight he finds himself again....

Stuart Scott:
Tonight is the MOST important game in Cleveland Cavalier history.

Wow. I've been following LeBron for over 10 years now, ever since he's been a young high school phenom in nearby Akron, Ohio. His legacy remains in balance. Please let this story have another chapter in the greatness that I've invested soooo much time and emotion into! Please!

I'm a mix of nervous and excited. I can hardly contain myself. I'm about 4 PBR's ino the night. Let's get it on already!!!!!

Hey LeBron, remember the "no regard for human life" dunk? Well, let's play with that mentality and aggressiveness!

The predictions for tonight's game here in Boston are pretty much down the middle for Cavs or Celts winning, but one thing that's been near unanimous: LeBron is going OFF tonight!!

They were just talking on the ESPN pregame show, that New York is the unusual position to be rooting for a Boston team tonight. Their reasoning: LeBron will exit Cleveland if the Cavs bow out of the playoffs early.

Am I the only one that doesn't understand that theory???

I mean, if anything, LeBron would stay in Cleveland IF they don't win a championship..............right?

If you want a revolution, the only solution: EVOLVE!

I must say, I LOVE the new Gatorade commercial that's been playing throughout the playoffs! Everytime it comes on, I turn the volume up real high!!!

I am sooo sick of hearing about New York and their "entitlement feelings" for thinking LeBron is automatically coming there next year.

If LeBron is any sort of proud man, and he DOESN'T win this season, you'd think he would want to return, just because there's unfinished business.

BTW Bill, we've got to meet up and share a pint together. You've been a great friend on this site through the years. Glad that our two teams will be battling each other tonight. Let it be a good one. Best of luck my friend!

Vaccaro believes LeBron will leave

[ame="http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?id=5186275&campaign=rss&source=NBAHeadlines"]Sonny Vaccaro said LeBron James will leave the Cleveland Cavaliers - ESPN Chicago[/ame]

Sounds like a plan my friend!! :up

I'm very torn tonight............I'd be lying if I said I wasn't rooting for the Green.

BUT on the other side, I see great fans like yourself and SkyHi that deserve a championship!! :(

Just know this: I'll be the biggest Cavs fan outside of Ohio if they win this series!! :)

using spoiler tags in case people aren't up to date:
they left the island in season 4 and realized they needed to go back. they went back to the island. now people are dying and they are trying to stop fake locke/man in black from getting off the island and destroying the world

Almost game time :D

Not necessarily. It's been well documented that LeBron needs another impact player to compliment him. Cleveland has the advantage of paying James more per year than any other team can, but they lack the cap space to afford a true sidekick.

The Knicks have the cap space to add LBJ and someone else, and Chicago is attractive with Rose and Noah already in place and the available cap space to add LeBron.

Ahh, the Summer of LeBron.....

Cavs seemed to weather an early Celtics flurry!

Just an observation: the Cavs seem to be a much better defensive team with Andy, Z and Moon in the game.
