ESPN reports are erroneous.

ESPN.com reported Monday that Stafford has a second-degree separation in the shoulder and that he plans to visit specialist Dr. James Andrews perhaps as early as this week.
On his weekly spot on the Mitch Albom radio show on WJR, Stafford said he hadn't heard that diagnosis. At his press conference earlier Monday, Stafford said doctors told him it wasn't a rotator cuff or labrum injury.

Patriots have traded RB Laurence Maroney to the Broncos. Maroney never lived up to his first round billing, but maybe he can thrive under McDaniels in Denver.
As for the Pats, it looks like they'll go by committee at RB (Fred Taylor, Sammy Morris, Benjarvus Green-Ellis and third down stud Kevin Faulk). IMO, it's a little risky considering both Taylor and Morris have had issues staying on the field.
