2010-11 NFL Season

Last nights game was crazy! It has been a VERY long time since I have seen hitting like that. I mean the Baltimore defense not only dominate/smoother/discombobulate the JETS offense...they manhandled them. And the JETS defense played good enough to win most nights, but I am convinced Joe Flacco is the toughest QB in the NFL after some of the shots he took last night. EVERY hit....ESPECIALLY from the Ravens, had a malice intent to it that made you afraid to walk on the field!

Brother of Tub-of-Goo is going be firing up every team that plays them this year with his mouth. I am looking forward to what he say THIS week because the Pats are next.

Steeler's / Raven's are always this type of D.
Difference being , by the time they play, they will have thier offense moving the ball better than the Jet's / Raven's did.

Maybe not the first time around this year as it will be game 4 and Ben won't be back yet.

BUT....the difference is....as much as they hate each other, they respect each other enough NOT to talk crap and give bullentin board material.

Jets "floored" by Revis comments on his contract

On Saturday, NBC's Peter King shared with the Michigan-Notre Dame audience a quote from Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis as to whether he'll hold out again in 2012, (two years before his new contract is up) after earning $32.5 million in 2010 and 2011.

"That's a great question," Revis told King. "If I continue to play ball like I usually do, we'll probably be back at that same position we were this year."

The comment left the Jets "floored," according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

They shouldn't be, frankly. And it'll be interesting to see whether the comment places a dark cloud over the relationship between player and team going forward.

Wow! LMAO! IMO, if he holds out again, it's ownerships fault for setting the precedent in the first place. Now every player will think they can get away with re-doing a contract before it's up.

WEEI in Boston just reported that Kris Jenkins is done for the year with an ACL tear.

Tough break for the Jets. BUT remember, they played without him most of last season and still had a top tier defense.

Hmm, I wonder if the Jets will make a call to check on the availability of Haynesworth....

He wants no part of a 3-4 defense. That is why is disgruntled in DC.

I was shocked when I saw Jenkins, who is coming off an acl surgery last year, was not wearing a knee brace.

That's what Dale and Holley on WEEI were speculating. Apparently the Redskins want a third round pick.

I heard that this morning down here also. IF the Redskins do trade him for JUST a 3rd rounder...to me, it just proves that Shanna-douche had it out for him from day one and wouldn't have cared less if he would have injured him during his little pissing contest. Hell, even Donovan McNabb stated that they cannot win a productive without him.
