2010-11 NCAA College Basketball

and to think that UK only had 3 players on the court at any one time. :)

Seriously, I was a bit surprised, although I shouldn't have been, that UK played the starters as much as they did when it was such a beat-down (7 players accounted for 90% of the minutes in the game.) Guess Coach Squid likes to run the score up, when possible.
82-44...brutal. Better watch out come football season next year. ;) :D

So, let me get this straight- Syracuse LOSES key cogs from last year's powerhouse (Wes Johnson, Arinze Onuaku, Andy Rautins) that had a GREAT season, yet is still purring along nicely this year.

That Jim Boeheim REALLY knows how to recruit.

and the cuse snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. Pitt Wins this round.

I would say they tired out in the end. I think coming back from being down 19-0 to start the game too alot out of them. You can see in the later half that PITT's depth(they can go almost 11 deep) wore them down a little.

Bama's not just a one-sport school anymore.

Bama basketball is so damn frustrating. For a couple of years they have had talent, but not a complete team, and this year probably still fits that but is getting closer to being good. IF they can figure out how to close out a game on the road they will have success. I just hate to see them be up for most of the game only to give it away rights at the end, and they have done that several times this season. The record now is 10-0 at home. 1-7 on the road.

They almost gave it up last night.

I know, I was talking to a friend when we were up by 20. I told him it wouldnt shock me if we lost by 3 or 4 in the end. I was half kidding, but then when they started to come back I was thinking, "Good Lord, every single time....."

All in all a good game.
