And then you have coaches like Pitino who love to coach against it, they show their teams how to break it and do so quite successfully. Its not like its the perfect defense, otherwise their record would never be beaten. There are lots
out there that have been equally as successful.
For the record, while I think the Cuse is a good team and fun to watch, their BE records for the last few years are:
2005-6 7-9
2006-7 10-6
2007-8 9-9
2008-9 11-7
2009-10 15-3
Looks like some of the BE teams don;t run screaming into the night at the defense, they would rather stay and beat it.
I thinks that's called familiarity.... Other teams do not see it as much as teams in the BE. Also, remember, Pitino was an assistant to Jim Boeheim.
