Thursday's Playoff Schedule

Orlando at Atlanta- 7:30pm ET (NBA-TV)- Hawks lead series 3-2

LA Lakers at New Orleans- 8:00pm ET (TNT)- Lakers lead series 3-2

Dallas at Portland- 10:30pm ET (TNT)- Mavericks lead series 3-2

Unless of course....the Orlando Magic snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat. I find interesting that you think if Orlando wins the series against a mediocre Atlanta team....can win the East...and a Heat team that played much better cannot.

The Celtics-Heat schedule is a joke, and the NBA should be ashamed of themselves!! The series starts Sunday and Tuesday in Miami, but then gets three off days before resuming in Boston a week from Saturday. Then if the series goes 7 games, game 7 won't be until Monday, May 16th!! The Celtics will have 18- count 'em 18- days in between playoff home games (game 2 against the Knicks was April 19th). That has to be some sort of record.

Don't get me wrong, if this benefits anyone it's the aging Celtics. But it's ridiculous how much say the networks have over these schedules!

The ATL vs. CHI series should be a good one. I'm hoping the Celtics sweep the Heat. It's going to be real interesting seeing LeBron face Delonte considering the drama those two had last year.
