2010-11 NBA Basketball Season

While he was here and treated us to his tremendous abilities he was treated like a king. He was the toast of the town and got anything he wanted. A dinosaur sized banner was erected along a skyscraper downtown with his image.

There is NO DOUBT about this statement. He was A GOD in Cleveland. But, that is a two edged sword and you clearly saw how that sword was brandished when he left.

Then he made the first move and embarrassed us on national TV. Under any other circumstance, I could understand. But he embarrassed us. We had the right to be mad and say things. Then he comes out from his sunny Miami residence and kicks us AGAIN while we are down?! Uh, oh. Grow up!

His MAIN move was an absolute abortion masqueraded as a charity event...there is ENOUGH blame to go around for that...ESPN, Lebron his handlers.... But the innocent bystanders in the "decision" debacle is the city of Cleveland and the fans of the Cavaliers. NO ONE, not even HEAT fans does not believe that.

Stay classy LeBron!

Stupid on his behalf....but the owner threw the 1st stone after Lebron chose Miami. And Cavs fans cannot do the same either. They are the ones bringing in witch doctors and 'vodoo specialist' to inflict 'bad karma' on him, THE CITY of Miami and ALL HEAT fans.....

What I said is right there in my post...it's really not all that complicated. YOU can add whatever you like, but that doesn't mean I SAID it.

Sandra

I did not add, just asked....and as expected, you spun it to something else. Simple question YET to be answered. Will leave it at that because by not answering said alot.:up;)

I'm sorry you had to read that Rey. I like you, but I don't like LeBron. I'm just venting. :)

I don't think ANY HEAT FAN does not mind that you don't like Lebron....IN FACT, we EXPECT it. But please do not pretend that the owner nor the Cavs fans did not wish ill will toward HEAT fans and the city because they did.

What question? Did I think it was a good idea for Gilbert to make those comments? No, I did not. I said that a long time ago but apparently you forgot, so I have to say it again. I understand why Gilbert felt that way, but I think it was a bad idea to actually say it.

Which is why I can also say it was a bad idea for Lebron to continue to make comments even after the emotion of the event is long gone. As Rey correctly stated, Lebron is throwing gasoline on a dying fire.

So as you can see, I am consistent.

You, on the other hand, attacked Gilbert's remarks at the time and continue to do so to this day, but yet you justify Lebron's statements.

When have I been hypocritical about this? I have stated from day one that the "decision" was stupid. But the Cavs owner was even MORE stupid for sending out his response and I gave my reason why back....something that YOU have seemed to forgot. So we have BOTH forgotten each others stance on the Cavs owners stupidity.

My stance is been on par from day one... for every ACTION, there is a reaction. SO, you cannot expect someone, in this case Lebron, actually forget the ill will sent by an entire city AND his former boss...and when the sh** hits the fan there in Cavs land...for him to stay quiet...not in his nature.

...funny how when all the hate was spewing against Lebron when he left. Didn't say a word really. Fans yelling "Akron hates you" ... he didn't say anything but "the fans in Cleveland are very passionate" ....NOW, 1st comments he makes about what has been said about him, to him and at him...and you guys expected him to just STFU and not saying anything....?

....for every action, there is a reaction.

A reaction from Lebron at the time? Sure, why not. He's entitled to his opinion just like anyone else.

Bringing it up (or according to your take...'not staying quiet') more than half a year later when Cleveland is already reeling? As HD said, nothing more than rubbing salt in the wounds. And as Rey said, throwing gasoline on a dying fire.

And LeWho got his "reaction" both in comic sans letter form the owner and from us the fans when we boo him.

The action that caused this reaction? LeBron embarrassing us on national TV.

LeBron acted first. The reaction followed. Then when the story was all but dead and buried, LeBron acted again last night on Twitter. I reacted this morning on this forum.

....for every action, there is a reaction.

I love it. I didnt really like Lebron before but now I do. After the way his "fans" treated him when he decided to move on I dont blame him for responding.. The Cavs, their owners, and fans etc have no room to talk. They wished ill on Lebron, put "curses" on him etc. Burn things of his etc. Now look Cavs are LAST PLACE without him, and his team he is on is FIRST place.. I guess we see who needed who most.

Yeah, we're all shocked that Cleveland is not doing well without Lebron.

You should really stick you your happy place, college football.

To be fair HD MM hasn't wished any harm to heat fans. We've discussed this topic numerous times even through pm's and he has always behaved like a very classy human being.

He may or may not....but MOST, if not ALL of the CAVS fan base DID...lead by the owner. And that is what I am basing my point on.

I find it interesting that it's ok for the owner of CAVS to express his 'refreshing, non-pc correct' feelings...and he is NOT a jerk because he has the 'pulse of the CAVS fans'....bbbuuuttt Lebron is a jerk for 'rubbing it in'......

LOL!

Yep....my point exactly.

LBJ, Grow up...

Dear Lebron,

I have defended you leaving in the past. Even though I never agreed with how you handled it I still tried to understand your decision and always understood it was business..but the karma comment just burns my ass. Regardless of if you feel Mr. Gilbert did you wrong, you need to realize that a comment like that is a smack in the face to the city of Cleveland. You may be the greatest basketball player in the world but it is quite obvious you have alot of growing up to do and that money and mad skills dont give you class. Watch out for the karma..it may bite you in your ass!!

Last night, Spolestra responded to late in the defensive alignment. He should have put in Joel Anthony much quicker to help in the front line. Zydrunas Ilgauskas is just not fast enough to cover the front line. After the "Warden" came in, which was AFTER the 1st quarter....the front line, including Griffin, was pretty much checked for the remainder of the game. The HEAT made adjustments and they came back from being 23 points down.

Something that Spolestra will learn as he gets more experience.
