2010-11 NBA Basketball Season

Great game last night between the HEAT and Trail Blazers. Wade and Lebron combined for 78 points and the SouthEastern version of the Big Three combined for 96 of the 107 points in the HEAT overtime victory.

That game was fun!

I'm sure it was fun. If you're into that whole selfish "me-first gimmee-gimmee" type play. I thought this was a team game? Sounds like a 3-man circus while everyone else sits around and watches. I wonder how long that'll last until the rest of the team gets frustrated?

It was not selfish at all. The offense they run is ALMOST like a triangle offense with Lebron playing "point-forward".... similar to Turloglu ran in Orlando a couple of years ago. The IDEA of the HEAT "big three" is working exactly as they designed it. And that is have the entire offense run through those three.

Lebron, Wade and Bosh are averaging approx. 26, 25 and 18 respectively. That does not sound like folks are standing around watching a "me-first" type team.

A triangle is 3 sided. There's 5 to a starting basketball squad. Let me know when they incorporate a pentagon offense, then I might tune in. ;)

wow come one now. emotions aside here. i haven't seen any selfish play at all from the heat. issue is that the other players besides the big three are big step down. they contribute some but its not enough.what would you like to see? the others do more and the big 3 do less? we're not good enough for that yet.besides who else wants that?? if miami is doing well with just the big three imagine if you throw in another player or two as talented. did you ever say lebron was selfish when he was at cleveland with his one man show??? when he won all those games for you? sorry i'm just trying to understand some of these comments i read around here.trying to understand if they're based on facts or on emotions.no disrespect intended. i'll take 3 man show anytime before the one man show the cavs had the years lebron was there.the same goes for wade having to do it all himself. no thanks.......

I watched most of the fourth period and OT, it wasn't any more 'selfish' than a lot of NBA games. Just happened to be a game that Bosh was 'on', but it actually looked like a Cleveland Cavalier game from last year where Lebron James would take over in the fourth and OT.

Refs missed a blantant double dribble at the end of regulation by Lebron where he ran into Wade on a fast break and started dribbling again, but that's the way it goes. Calls balance out in the long run but they got a break last night.

The CELTIC offense basically runs through 3 guys.... so are you saying the same thing about them? The Laker offense really run through 2...

Looks like the Pistons will start a bit of house cleaning to remove some salary

After being trade bait for a while, Rip Hamilton finally might be on the move.

But the Pistons are still waiting this morning to see if the Nets and Nuggets can work out the final details of a blockbuster three-team trade.

As initially reported by the Bergen (N.J.) Record late Friday night and confirmed by the Free Press, the longtime Pistons shooting guard could be on the move to the Nets for Troy Murphy and his expiring contract.

It’s part of a blockbuster three-team deal involving the Nuggets that would land the Nets superstar Carmelo Anthony.

Unfortunately for the Nets, they need a lot more than Carmelo Anthony, and the rumored reports are that they will have to contribute "value" to whatever trade they make, meaning that it won't just be reassigning an Eddie Curry or Theo Ratliff-type contract to a team that will settle for cap relief next year. They will have to give up a first round draft pick and a useful player or prospect, and so they will still not be seeing light at the end of the tunnel once this transaction is made.

They're talking Derrick Favors, Devin Harris and AT LEAST ONE first round draft pick. That's a lot.

Hey the way Lakers have been losing with teams with a losing record, dont be surprise The Cavs can pull a blowout win at Staples tonight.

With what players? There's a reason we hired Golden Radio Voice guy. And it wasn't for his broadcasting abilities. Maybe he can ball better than the scrubs we have now! lol!

To do it, they'll have to have a doozie of a second half!
