2010-11 NBA Basketball Season

This could rank up there on Salsa's favorite NBA XMas Day games (he covered a lot of Bulls Christmas games when he worked for them, so big games on this day is something he knows well).

(Ironically, the Bulls were NOT on Christmas the year they won 72 games.)

Yeah....and believe me when I tell....I was happy for that....

Oh please. I lead the charge in the importance ...or lack there of, of the regular season. The win per say, meant nothing....but what DID mean something was the fact that the HEAT bigs can more than defend the Laker bigs. It also showed that the HEAT team is no where near as soft as people "presumed" them to be. The Lakers and their Dennis Rodman wanna-be tried their very best rough house the all game....a terrible mistake because it took them completely off their triangle offense to try and prove they can out-muscle the HEAT.
The Heat bigs played well, and I've already pointed out that Pau reverted back to his pansy self. However, I am someone that believes a healthy Bynum would have made a difference. Looking forward to round two :)

The difference was the excellent team defense. I think IF they would have stuck to that great triangle offense, instead of trying to show who is tougher...they may have pulled it off. As far as Byum, you could have something there....but he played. OUR "enforcer" is still out and I am sure he would have made a difference also.;)

Round two will be different because Phil will know what adjustments to make to give them a better chance to win.

How come... Nobody says a thing about the Lakers losing 3 in a row by AT LEAST 12 or more, two at home...one to the lowly Bucks and though tonights loss was to a good team....if someone would have said Ginobili and Dunkin combined for less barely 10 ....I would have said, by how much did the Lakers blow out the Spurs by......

I think the Lakers will be OK though. No doubt they're having some issues but they'll turn it around in time for the playoffs.

I don't doubt that what's so ever....but funny how they have gotten their asses handed to them by at least 15 the last 3 games...and no one has said a peep. Not so much the Laker fans...but the HEAT haters. ALSO...suddenly, you don't hear all this negative talk about Miami's record against teams .500 anymore. Only Dallas, San Antonio and Boston have a better record with the HEAT at 10-7.

Gotta LOVE the double standard....LOL!

Turner, IMHO, should have stayed at Ohio State. He doesn't seem ready for the pros now. He could have gone back, fine-tuned his game, and would have been better off next year.

But as Salsa has said before, "shoulda, coulda, woulda- and if my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle."

You can make the argument that Turner is better off fine tuning his game right where he is... ;)

I have seen some of the 76ers games....he is explosive WITH the ball...but his jumpshot is awful unless it's some shotput thing. I agree that he should have stayed in school and polish that jump shot and his ball handling skills expand his game into bring down the ball in the pro game.

Turner can also work on his game in the NBA.

L.A can kiss yet another 3pete goodbye, mark my words for June 2011.. Wont happen

Nice end for the HEAT....1st team in NBA history to win 10 road games in one calender month and go 15-1 for the month. Someone smacked Wade in the month and pissed him off enough to have his 1st back-to-back 40 point games. THAT is the wrong person to piss off. But I must admit, the Houston Rockets are a pesky, never-give-up team ...

And suddenly, the HEAT are only 1 game behind the CELTICS.... knock, knock....:D

Crying all the way to the bank
