2010-11 NBA Basketball Season

Yep....cant have it both ways. They "let them play" the entire game....and now you cannot really be asking to call fouls do ?
well..they gave d-whistle his little touch foul and then they did not call a much more blatant foul in favor of Hinrich. I know it feels good when you win, but don't be ignorant about it. You know the NBA gave you this game, they want the win streak on the line on the 25th.

I do know that DWade got a crap call just like he got throughout the 2006 NBA Finals

LOL waiting for you-know-who to come in and tell us, AS HE ALWAYS DOES, that the regular season is irrelevant, and all that matter is the playoffs. And then you get THIS :up!!!

You can't make this stuff up around here. The regular season is irrelevant when your team is 9-8, but big news when they're 21-8.

Typical.

It's called a star getting the benefit of the doubt. Just like Dirk ALSO got through those playoffs...just like Kobe has got, Jordan has gotten and the list goes on and on and on. It will be there for the next star till the NBA ceases to exist.

It is still irrelevant. I am just glad they are 21-8. THAT is the reason for the thumbs up. I would much rather have them be 13 games ABOVE .500 than under...would you? ...is that ok with you or are you still upset that the Knicks were manhandled on Friday and NOW you wanna form a stink....?

I understand this is between you and salsa but where is he saying that the regular season is relevant in his post?

Very true! As much as I hate to admit it, more times than not, Larry Bird and Kevin McHale got the benefit of the doubt from a ref's whistle through the 80's............something that the late great Johnny Most never would have admitted!

Why would I care about the Knicks losing a regular season game? Makes no sense.

A guy I know in Florida says the playoffs are all that matters...

Then why the f*** are making an issue about me liking that the team I like is 13 games above .500??!! I don't know about you, but I would rather be 13 games ABOVE .500 than 13 games BELOW .500... I mean that makes sense to me as a fan.... I have said the regular season irrelevant to very good teams...and I have stood by this. The HEAT, when they won their only championship proved that, the Celtics have done that and almost did that last year....

So, I do not know who peed in your corn flakes but I have not said ANYTHING that I have not said in the past....

Just pointing out that at 9-8 you said the regular season was irrelevant, but now you say 21-8 is big news. Relax.

You read ALL that from a thumbs up??!! MY GOD, you must be successful at picking lottery tickets too..!!!

Maybe I should say it in spanish for those that have a little issue with reading?!

WHERE did I say it was big news? I gave the thumbs up because I was happy they were 21-8. Nothing more and nothing less. But apparently, it is now a major issue...

....next time, I will ask your permission if I am allowed to express my pleasure or displeasure about my teams success.... NOT!

How about the wheeling and dealing Magic?!!!

Added to the Orlando roster: Gilbert Arenas, Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark.

Deleted from the Magic roster: Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus and Marcin Gortat.

The Magic reacquiring Turkoglu is a great move. IMO, the Magic sorely missed Hedo in the playoffs last season.

OTOH, acquiring Arenas is a head scratcher. Why would a team with title aspirations want that cancer on their team (not to mention losing Lewis)?? Maybe the Magic didn't think they could compete with the Celtics and Heat come the spring the way the roster was constituted??

Yes, very strange. You know Washington had to be thrilled to get Arenas away from John Wall. Why on earth would Orlando gamble on him?

Sandra

The 22-4 Celtics are riding a 13 game winning streak. The injury riddled C's will get a nice break, as they play only two games over the next eight days:

Wednesday night vs. the Sixers at home

and

Christmas Day against the new look Magic in Orlando

Crying all the way to the bank
