No you don't! :p

Very impressive, BUT in doesn't quite cancel out your "Red Wings are done" brigade that you've been spinning all year long, Mr. Genius! ;)

18 consecutive seasons in the playoffs. What does he mean by "done"? We won't repeat? Or our playoff streak? I figure this core is good for at least 5 more years, even without major changes. As long as the GM Holland and the ownership stays the same, I can see this running for a long time. Repeating as champs? Well that's really, really hard. But I do like our chances this season. Osgood has been outstanding so far, but it's really early, things can change next series.

He's been saying all season long that the Red Wings have no goaltending, or they have no defense, or that they're too old.

I've called him out on it on more than a few occasions.

The Red Wings problem, by their own admission) was boredom. Their play in this series has been phenomenal. Even by their standards. I'll admit to being surprised myself. It's like they "threw a switch". The two goals they gave up came on a Rafalski "lapse" in front of the net in game one, and a power play goal last night. The most surprising thing in this series has been the Wing's willingness to take the physical game to Columbus. They have outhit them the whole series.

And that was exactly my point to Sabres, when it came to the Red Wings.

I knew once the "real season" started, the Wings would turn it up a notch. They're just too good in the postseason.

Well Sabres, it looks like I was right about the Red Wings. Does that make ME a genius?

Genius? Maybe.:D You are one of the more "sound" thinkers around here.

HA...you both are geniuses ...... All these guys realize how lucky they are to be working for a quality organization that cares about their players. The fact that Columbus wanted to spend so much time in the penalty box did not hurt either!

He's been listening to the media all year, they say the same thing, just like they did last year too.

Wings have No Goaltending and are too old.

Last I remember, Mr. Osgood was lifting the "Stanley Cup " last year ....

They still give him no respect.

Jimbo

Cleveland is a heavy favorite to win the NBA title; Columbus is just happy to make the playoffs.

People are at least talking about the Jackets. I rarely hear people talking about the Cavs. Pro Basketball is just not that popular around here.

Bruins 4, Canadiens 1......................11 minutes left in regulation.

Le Sweep is gonna happen! :)

The Caps have been outplaying the Rangers, but were down 2-0 after the 2nd. However, Ovechkin scores 5-minutes into the 3rd and the Caps are putting on a rally. The goaltending has been stellar for the Rangers...this is certainly worth tuning into if you're not already there.

You're right, very good game. I've been going back and forth betwenn this and B's-Habs.

This is a HUGE game for the Bruins because if the Rangers win this series, (and obviously a win tonight would go a long way to clinch that) they would face the Bruins in the next round.

If the Capitals win this series, the Bruins would more than likely play either Carolina or Pittsburgh.

The Rangers can thank Lundqvist for this win.

IMO, he is the ONLY reason the Rangers are up in this series.

It's hard to fathom- the weakest offensive attack of the 16 playoff teams (no playoff team scored fewer goals) is up 3-1.

NY Rangers win 2-1...great game! The Caps are down, but I would not rule them out just yet. I still expect this series will go at least six. Yes, the Rangers can thank Lundqvist or this series may very well be 3-1 in favor of the Caps. Regardless if whether the Rangers win the series, they will not advance past the next round of the playoffs.
