2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Anaheim gets outshot by a 2-1 margin (35-17)... and wins 2-0.

As much as I want to say that the Ducks were somewhat fortunate- I won't.

Besides, I don't want to sound like I'm raining on KCK's parade.

No rain here. It was a great game with a great outcome and I can't wait till 7PM PDT Sunday night for the rematch. (Now THIS one is late even by West Coast standards. Our Sunday night NHL games usually start @ 5PM PDT).

Pens get the win on a goal by Bill Guerin after a couple of really dumb penalties by the Flyers lead to a 5-on-3.

BillD, remember Mr. Guerin from his time in Beantown?

Vancouver ahead of St. Louis, 2-0 with about eight minutes remaining in regulation.

I'll tell you something, I'm starting to believe that the Canucks could be a darkhorse for the Stanley Cup.
