2009 NBA Playoffs

The Magic have had the cavs number all season (even longer). The only people surprised by the outcome so far are cavs fans..
Count me as surprised, although I don't follow the NBA that closely. The Cavs are one miracle shot away from being down 3-0. If they lose this series count on Lebron having a Charles Barkley/Karl Malone career with people saying he's done everything but.... That can turn into an enormous burden.

Denver evens the series with the Lakers. What's crazy is they did it this time while getting virtually nothing from Carmelo. The Nuggets are scary when they get everyone going.

Nuggets tie their series with a 19-point win.

Can you say 'Memorial Day Massacre II?'

(For those not familiar with what that means, it's in reference to a lopsided basketball game. Ask BillD- he remembers that)

Enos!! :haha:haha:haha

...." look folks...a giant, life size ENOS!!!!!"

...."rhymes with...ah....Venus....."...

...."Oh...I know what you THOUGHT I was gonna say....rhymes with...ah...GENIUS....which you are not...!!"

Classic Vince taking advantage of OTHER screw ups.....LOL!

I would not be surprised if MORE people watched the openning 10-15 of RAW than the openning 10-15 minutes of the Denver/LA game.

Why should you be....? Matchups do not favor the Cavs. And the Magic winning 11 of the last 14 games pretty much solidifies that. It's one thing to lost 3 of 5 or 4 of 6....but 11 of 14??!!

Ramy, why haven't you been a frequent contributor to this thread?

After all, you did have a Lakers avatar at one point, so I'd assume they're your team.

Not enough time in the day. I don't surf the net while I watch the games either. I would rather watch the game. There is just way too much sports going on right now. I have 2 TV's in the living room watching games and still have to flip channels when 3 of my teams are playing at the same time(Reds, Lakers, Penguins)

Fellas, fellas. What did I tell you?! It's not over yet. We're 3 games into a 7 game series. The last I checked, it takes 4 games to win a series, not 2.

And everyone who keeps saying that the Cavs are "one miracle shot away from being down 3-0," it depends from what perspective your looking at. The Cavs could very well be up 2-1. How soon people forget, but the Cavs had not one, but two shots at the end of Game 1 to win. Unfortunately though, they missed them both.

And let's not start the LeBron to Malone/Barkley comparisons just yet. The KID is 24 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 24, twenty-freaking-four! 24! That's it!!! Talk to me in 10 years. Win, lose or draw, LeBron has a LONG career ahead of him.

I don't recall ANYONE saying the series is over. IF anything, all have stated the series is far from over.

Nothing wrong with being optimistic.....but you also have to be realitic too....!;)

Nobody has anything to say about that "other" finals going on? Right now,I can see the Nuggets winning this. Carmelo and James have pretty much washed each other, so that leaves it to the next difference making player, and that would be Billups, which the Laker's have no answer for.

Oh Boy.....here we go....:

So, Mo. You're sure the Cavaliers will win Game 4 on Tuesday night and rally to win the best-of-seven series. Willing to guarantee it?

"Guarantee we're going to win the series? Yeah, yeah," he said. "We are down 2-1. But there is nobody on this team and definitely not myself that says we are not going to win this series. Yeah, it is going to be tough. We know that. We get this game tomorrow, go home, still got home-court advantage.

"We don't see ourselves losing two out of three at home."

There are times where I wish guys would shut-up and just play.....

i really don't care what he guarantees as long as he wins. howard gave a game 6 and 7 guarantee against the celts and came through.
