2008 Pennant Races

At least I can watch the Red Sox rally on NESN, and bide my time until the game starts. :D

Does every team have one of these rallies, and are they all on the same day?

Yes! It bagan a few years back and used to be held on Monday. They were called "Rally Mondays". However, the Dodgers held theirs last night (so as not to interfere with the Angels tonight :p). They are actually quite cool.

BTW, something's gotta give:

The Red Sox have won 9 straight playoff games vs. the Angels dating back to 1986.............................

..................BUT, In the here and now in 2008, the Angels pummeled the Red Sox in the season series, 8 games to 1.

Is Schoenweis a free agent this year? I'll tell you what he better have not been on the team bus. If he wasn't the fans would've told them to hitch. I'm just so damn aggravated with this guy. I'm sick of him and I'm glad he got the loss. It just sums up the year the bullpen and he has have. Makes you sick. All I heard was how great this guy was before we got him and he's been a BUST!!!!
You could tell the rest of the bullpen that, that's the closest you'll see or ever perform in a playoff hunt. ALL THOSE GUYS BELONG ON THE SCRAPHEAP AND SHOULDN'T BE NEAR A BASEBALL TEAM!!!
No, you know what that's wrong. Some of those bullpen guys (except Joe Smith who was actually good this year) should come to CitiField. After all, I'm sure they need GUYS TO WASH THE TOILETS AND PICK UP CRAP IN THE STADIUM!!!!
The Mets could choke on Jell-o!!

Given the last fact, it's a no-brainer that the streak will end this season. I seriously doubt the Angels will lay down and let the Sox win 3 in a row.

Sabtahi talked has me all riled up. Listen, I give him 110% props for what he did, but do we have statistics on how many of the NL teams he faced more than once and furthermore, what the lineups did against him that second time around. He, like many other players, played for a contract . . . the real test is next year . . . let's see what he does next year. A pitcher who has not seen many of the players vice versa, should bode well.

Santana and Lincecum were great this year and I will put their stats (especially Santana's) against Sabbathia's anytime and do not throw the wins stuff at me!
