My condolences to Charlie Manuel and his family. Even though I don't like the Phillies, I feel bad for the guy. I give him a huge amount of credit. He managed the game under extremely sad circumstances.

As far as the Rays, not selling out, how could you not? Your in the playoffs for the first time. GO TO THE GAMES!!! HOW MANY OPPORTUNITIES ARE YOU GOING TO GET!!!

Are u into this game, I'm not. I just can't get into this game tonight although I got into the Red Sox game last night. I think sometimes if your team isn't in it, it's hard to get into the games. What do you think?

You're right though, the way Lester has been pitching, it SHOULD be a Red Sox W.

If Boston and Philly win the rest of their games, what's the earliest possible World Series start day? I doubt most of the country wants to see Seattle/Tampa Bay.

D-Lowe is pitching on three day's rest for the Dodgers tomorrow.

I think it's a smart move by Torre for a few reasons:

1. The NLCS will have off days on both Tuesday and Thursday. Hypothetically, that would allow Torre to pitch Billingsley, Kuroda, and Lowe in games 5,6 and seven respectively, all on full rest.

2. Being a sinkerball pitcher, pitching on three day's rest can actually bebefit Lowe (a sinker sometimes is benefitted by a tired arm).

3. Lowe is a proven big game pitcher, and the Dodgers need to avoid going down, 3-1.
