118k footprint issue

Installed a 500plus dish in S. Fla. have strong 119, but no 118k....is this a footprint issue, or do I need a larger dish...the satellite footprints I have looked at for amc16 are confusing on the footprint....thanks....

sounds to me like you have a bad lnb or a skew/elevation issue
Check the skew and EL on the dish and of course make sure the mast is plumb..Also one more thing..DO a hard reset on the receiver....The STB may not have the current software...Just suggestions to help you out,...

using a birdog meter with the 118k software...just no signal....don't think its the lnb...am concerned of being out of its footprint

can you post a link with sat footprint maps?....I'll try to find a link to one myself....
