Just placed my order before finding this site. I have 4 HD TVs and they sold me 1 Hopper and 3 Joeys. They told me I could be recording and watching different channels on all. Is this the case? I then called back to ask about another Hopper and they said not needed. I'm replacing 2 Tivos and 2 cable DVRs.

I won't be happy if I get forced to watch a show I'm recording and can't change the channel.

thanks

You have 3 tuners, so a max of three different programs can be viewed live at any given times. So between 4 TVs and recordings and live viewing , you may find yourself lacking tuners. I have 2 Hoppers and it fits my viewing needs perfectly. I rarely run into a viewing conflict. You may be better off with 2 Hoppers so you can raise your tuner count to 6. If you were just upgraded, you may want to ask DIRT for help and see what you can do for you. DIRT rocks!

New cst. I got the Hopper and Sling free, $100 more to add second hopper. I'll end up with 2 H and 2 J, plan on adding 2 more Joeys in then near future.
