I highly doubt they gave back the money they recieved from the bowl game...but I could be wrong.

I doubt that, no matter who goes from the west. I think it's funny how Georgia can look terrible at the beginning of the season, start playing better, then all of a sudden they're the hottest thing in college football and should be placed above others...as in '07. Georgia's PR machine is very strong it seems.I might have, don't remember. I did argue against UGA a few years ago in favor of LSU and Ohio St.Course it doesn't matter as this years SEC championship game will be a repeat of '05
Do they not know how seriously we take this stuff? We almost kicked Arkansas out of the SEC for that mess.

I wouldnt go that far. lol, but I also wouldnt over look them. Playing Georgia for the SEC championship....in Atlanta.
So? Vacated Smacated... big deal to the team that could have played in that game ahead of liars and those that broke rules.
But on another note....Ole Rich Rod getting a big raise.. almost 10Million for 5 years with bonuses if they make a BCS Bowl and NC game.

umm not hating at all...not once have I said I hated them - I just don't consider it fair but it is what it is and another team will be screwed out of a bowl game spot - lets just hope a low tier bowl picks them cause that's all that is left.
They would be best to turn down the bowl this year as a preemptive strike. They still do not have the full ruling from the NCAA and they could still have a bowl ban imposed. Impose your own bowl ban this year when you were not any good and go to a bowl next when the team may be better.
I bet he was getting close to that if not more at Michigan. I guess you could say it is a big raise as he went from $0 to 2 Million a year since he didn't have a job.
His mommy probably wants him close to home. Where else would he go in Ohio?

All the other players stayed and took thier 6 game punishment.
Possey ended up wasting his whole year, he didn't know till week 6 that he wasn't going to be able to come back till after game 10 ..... this kid got ripped off of his Athletic career ....
He's done now and probably should have went in the draft LAST year had he had any idea of what was coming down.
No they wont, theres PLENTY of Bowl games to go around.

As long as you can make it to .500 your invited to a bowl game, If I were the one running things that would not be the case, it reminds me of pee wee when EVERYONE gets a trophy for participating.
Make a Bowl game something you have to TRY for and be proud to go.
I say no one with less than a 8-4 record should be able to go in a 12 game season.
I think they have IMPOSED ENOUGH on thier own .... they need to quit opening thier mouths and volentering and just let the NCAA did what they are going to do, they probably wouldn't have had half the punishment had they not VOLUNTEERED all this junk.
