2011-12 NFL Season

Why? What would bother me is my teams defense giving up points until the very last minute .

Chiefs probably wouldn't have done it if Oakland didn't go off the rails and started hitting late and drawing penalties every other play.

Looked like Haley returning the favor, at least he had control of his team.

This is the kind of loss that can ruin seasons, Palmer should help mitigate that, but what an ugly way to lose the division winning streak they've had going since 2009.

Exactly. Many will say Tebow won this game also... Defense and kicker deserve that credit.

Tebow did a good job tying it up though, but they would have won this by a large margin with even serviceable QB play for the first 50 or so minutes.

Well the kicker missed 2 field goals which we could say did win the game. It made Tebow play that much harder down the wire.. And Yes the defense deserves credit for holding Miami to only 15 points and keeping them in the game.

I understood why the Raiders came unhinged and why Haley did it. Frustrating day for the Raiders. This game did nothing but show a few things:

- Kyle Boller is a terrible backup.
- Carson Palmer was not ready.
- The Raiders defense is getting better, inspite of the injuries.
- Michael Bush is probably the best backup RB in the NFL.

The Raiders will be fine and a bye week could not have come at a better time.

The Dolphins scored their average... 15 points.

Kinda like the beat down that the Faiders gave the Broncos.

They stopped scoring also.

Didn't bother you then.

Give me a break.....

They ran the ball ...they didnt pass... No worries... Not saying what I wanna say ;-)

This has truly been a forgettable weekend for football. I'm watching the World Series right now. I checked the score between the Colts & saints to see if I made a wise choice in watching the World series instead,& the Saints are beating the Colts 31-0 in the second quarter. Oh wait, the Colts got 7 points now.

The only thing more boring than this weekend was back in the late 1980's when the NFL had a strike in the middle of the season(I forget which one) & the teams played with scabs. I remember how bored to death & disgusted the the Monday Night Football crew were having to announce it("here come's the Wishbone" as announced by Frank Gifford with disgust in his voice).

I blame the players strike & Andrew Luck not coming out in the 2011 draft for this bad, mediocre season we're having this year(well, most of us,& the jury is still out on Detroit).

This makes me chuckle for some reason, not sure why. I wonder how tonights WS game will rank against the blowout one channel over.

There's very little bad or mediocre about this season... it really depends on who your horse is in this race. Records for comebacks are being broken every week, a lot of these games are pretty amazing as teams turn the tables in the final half/quarter.

It's the NFL, nuff said. Bad weeks like this one (and even then, some pretty entertaining games, depending on who your horse is) are due to bye weeks.

From Twitter: 21 times team trailing by at least 10 earns win. Most in 24 years & 2nd-most ever thru 1st 7 weeks (23, '87)
