For those of you who aren't watching the NFL opener, hell of a game between Clemson and Georgia Tech.
Clemson is down 24-0, then scores 27 unanswered points, only to see GT kick tying and winning field goals.
Looks like the ACC is becoming must-see TV, and I am taking back all the negative things I said about the conference (I once called it the Absolutely Crappy Conference.)
BTW, Miami plays the Ramblin Wreck next week. Both teams have prevailed in entertaining games- hopefully, this will be better than last year's slaughter (41-23- Tech ran for 472 yards).

Another Jeckell & Hyde performance by Ma Tech, we are going to have to get that under control or it will be a long season.
Loved the two fake field goals in the game, both going for td's. One on a pass and the other on a return.

Sounds like it was a good game. Wish I wouldn't have switched to the Steelers - that one was a snoozer until Pittsburgh won of course (well, not exactly a snoozer, just not enough scoring).

While waiting for the College football game tonight, the game was already pushed back an hour because of the NBA Hall of Fame thing going on ... (wouldn't you think they would put this at a better time)
Anyways, Toledo's game was scheduled to start at 9 pm, I turn it on and the NBA thing is still on.
This went on till about 9:10, when they finally changed over to the game that was already going on .... missed the first 3-4 minutes of the game, most of the first drive.
End of first quarter,

Colorado 0
but Colorado is on the move.
Toledo's WR, Eric Page has 2 catches for like 140 yards and a TD so far.

You know Hawkin's son is the buffalo's QB.
They had some good teams under Gary Barnett earlier this decade but he f***ed things up with the sexual harrassment and got fired. Hawkins came from Boise St, and looks like he made a poor career move. If you're getting roughed up by Toledo, and they lost to Colorado St last week, you're probably going to get killed in the Big XII.
