YES Network Being Dropped? (Agreement reached 4/7)

I think there is a WHOLE lot of Jumping the Gun in this thread....

YES WILL have a resolution with D*.

It's already been mentioned that YES will be on D* WHILE negotiations are ongoing. (this COULD last awhile) IF YES goes off the air, it will be YES's doing and I would not be surprised that THAT would be a last ditch effort on YES's part.

I'm not sure why ALL these providers feel that D* should pay MORE than OTHER providers in the first place.

What age demographic do you fall into ?

I am 37. I used to be much more fanatic when I was in my 20s. I realize that I am on the extreme side, however, there are many people like me in the NY area that live and die by the Yankees or even the Mets.

I am just glad I don't live in NY and have Dish. Not having any sports channels wouldn't fly. I think YES is worth what they get paid because they have solid programming. I watch more Regional networks like MSG, SNY and YES than my local FSN North. Those channels have other programs like radio shows and documentary.

So what does the rest of NY supposed to do, Not everyone in NY Sports DMA gets NY City locals.
Infact DMA Number 1 is the only ones with Satellite.
Cable offers NY city locals to many of those DMA's, But not D* or E*.

If they are True fans, they Subscribe to MLB EI just like everyone who likes an out of market team.

If you like the Yankees and live in North Dakota, You susbcribe to MLB EI, Weather its satellite, cable, or Internet.

If you live in NY and you are a Dodgers Fan, Same thing you subscribe to MLB EI.
