Can anyone who has a Wii please post what you think of it?

I can't tell ya it's in the trunk of the car.

Undecided if we wrap it up for Christmas or rip it open later after going to the movies to see Happy Feet with the kids.

The box is small and heavy. I picked one up at Circuit City this morning. It is for my daughter and she will not be home until Christmas break. This is all of my Wii review, sorry. But everyone in line this morning said it was a great system, :D

I just wish I could find a store that has one left. :(

No one can tell me when they will be getting more either.

I got one last night and set it up and played it a little bit last night.

After getting it hooked up, I had two updates to download. Getting on the internet was pretty simple..it automatically detected my network and started the downloads. The second download seemed to be going very very slow, so I decided to just restart the system. Once I restarted it, it started the download automatically again. This time it only took about 5-10 minutes to finish the download.

I created my Mii character which was a pretty neat idea. You can create one for each person, it is pretty much like a profile on the 360.

I then tried out each game on the Wii sports game. They were all pretty fun. I don't think you'll be able to play them for long periods of time, but for a short play time they are pretty good.

The controls are very fun to play with. There is a small learning curve, but it doesn't take long at all to get the hang of it. I think it will be really fun for games that take advantage of the new controllers.

It only comes with a regular video/audio cable which I was disappointed with because the picture isn't that great on my bigger TV. I am hoping to be able to find some component cables.

I also have Zelda and Red Steel. I will probably try them later on today since it was so late tonight.

The only difference in the set up is that you have to set up a sensor bar on top or at the bottom of your TV for the controllers.

So far I have enjoyed what I've seen from the Wii. I think it will be very fun with the new controllers.

PS: My EB said that they will receive some more that will be available for sale on Friday.

Been rockin the Wii for a couple of days now (work in the industry so we had early shipment). I even have the component cable for it so 480p. Zelda was a scramble but I managed to get one this morning. So I have MUA, Zelda and Wii Sports. Unable to procure a second controller and nunchuk but I'll get around to it.

Graphically, it's about what I expected. 480p definitely helps. But don't expect anything to look like GOW/360. Gameplay is great fun! The controller has its own speaker on it so it adds sound affects to gameplay. It's very responsive and not hard to use at all.

The Wii Sports is a big hit with the wife. We bowled and played golf for several hours last night. I have been rolling through Zelda for an hour or so and that is everything I expected. Graphics are very good and gameplay is.. well, it's Zelda!

For the price, the system is a winner.

I think I better check my daughter's Christmas present out. I don't want her to open a bad Wii.

As much as I hate consoles, I have to admit it was a great fun when my friend and his wife popped in for a few minutes only and soon we just realized we're playing for almost 2 hours, wifes are laughing all the way behind us (in safe distance when Baseball came along :D) yet only tried Tennis more than once, Golf, Boxing and Baseball was touched for few minutes only. :)

This controller makes the whole console gaming a lot different - as I suspected: MS and Sony just got a very strong and much more user-friendly competitor with a lot of extra fun to offer!

PS: later I opened Red Steel, hmm, graphics are just as crap as the GC was or the free Wii sports bundle and controller makes it *very annoying* to move around - still not a much for my mice+kb combo - but a lot better than retarded MS and Sony controllers.

However RS has a very stupid main menu system and you better configure your aim properly first time...
