Which SW Is On Your 501/08/10?

I'm just curious as to how they are rolling this one out. Is it a trckle, or a gusher, or somewhere in between? My workplace 501 is still on 300. I'm hoping 301 will correct an issue wherein it won't authorize WPIX. (Our 8 311's have no problem w/WPIX.)

My 501 still at P300. I forgot to check it this morning. I've heard reports of people having problems with the new P301 on 508's receivers.

Mine have P300. I am happy with the way they work. Don't want 301 if it's going to mess things up. Seems as though their upgrades have a history of causing more problems than they fix. I have two 510's.

FYI - The CSR told me that they sometimes send 508's as replacements for 501's, when that is all they have in stock. That would be nice. Has that ever happened to anybody here?

Yep. My son got a 508 instead of a 501 on a replacement.

Three 508, all upgraded to 301. Had trouble with one not being able to do a switch check, soft boot and hard boot,three days later, it turns on and seems to be getting better. Found loose connection everything OK.

3.01 finally arrived last night on my 501. New menu is nice.

i got 3.01 this morning when power returned, power was out from 4-8 am this morn then upon bootup i get new softtware lol

I have P301 on my 501 but not on my 508 yet. It's been that way for a couple of days. (Maybe they're updating in numeric order

I just pulled the card on the 508 and then unplugged power once activity ceased. Then I powered it up and once it was quiet inserted the card.
It started chugging away like it was doing something.

I just went back and it was quiet again. Turned it on and no update.

I guess I have to wait my turn.
