Which sat is the HD sat for Dish?

There is HD on 110, 129, and 61.5. 129 and 61.5 are mirrors of each other except for local HD channels.

What part of the country are you in and that would determine which sat dish you would need?

I would use the 61.5 sat if I was you , unless you have hd locals on 129. I am using the dish 500 for 61.5 sat hooked into my dish 500 for 110/119 and the dishpro plus twin and I am getting great strengths in the mid to high 90s and no breakups. With 129 you will suffer from flucuating signal strengths due to the crappy 129 satellite that is constantly having to fire its thrusters to stay in the same position over the country. They should replace it sometime next year.
