What were some of the NFL Playoff Scenerios that you remember?

I will give you an example. In 1994, The Giants had to beat the Cowboys in the last week of the season and if that happened and the Bucs beat the Packers then the Giants were in the playoffs. Well, the Giants beat the Cowboys and the Packers beat the Bucs, so the Giants were out. 5 yrs. later, The Giants had to beat the Cowboys in Dallas and the Cardinals had to beat the Packers so the Giants would make the playoffs. The Packers smoked the Cardinals and the Giants game was rendered meaningless. They lost anyway 26-18 to the Cowboys.

Do you remember some NFL playoff scenerios?

I think I heard that one year the Jets were playing the Packers in the last game of the regular season, and the Jets win put both the Jets and Giants into the playoffs.

Sandra, I think they might have been 1988 although Im sure.

I vaguely remember that one year, the Giants needed three other games to end in ties to give them a chance to win a wild card slot.
