BOTH coaches recruit in HOTBEDS full of talent. Meyer did well at UTAH because he didn't have to play alot of the LSUs, Alabamas and Georgias of the NCAA world until bowl games.

Then explain FLA before Meyer came to be.. A lot of being a good coach in college has to do with being a good recruiter. Meyer brought great recruits to FLA. the same with Carrol for USC

I'd offer to compare Meyer's record from the time he got to Bowling Green till now, it would still be better.

but then again most wouldn't have done this either even with the public pressure it's a good thing no matter how you look at it. makes the coach look like a fool though. maybe meyer is still waiting for his right testicle to drop.

ron zook is a better then decent recruiter and he can't coach his way out of a paper bag. many of the players on meyer's 2006 national championship team were zook recruits.
