With the current sale on the Generation 3 antenna (?) and the 50gb for $50 roam plan I am thinking of getting into Starlink to use with my RV. I don't think Starlink will work at my home. But will Dish OnDemand work with my Dish Wally?

I do not doubt you, but I'm curious why Starlink will not work at your home.
Sorry to change topic but since I have not been able to find answer on starlink site, how much are additional GB?From what I have read since making that comment Starlink would most likely work at my home. When Starlink first came out I could not get a Northern view for it due to tall trees. When I get back from my next trip I will test it out being I will still have days and gb to use.
I don't know. I looked for that also.Sorry to change topic but since I have not been able to find answer on starlink site, how much are additional GB?

all you need to do at the house is use the app for coverage test--50gb unless you are just emailing and face booking will get eaten up very quickly and it will shut of automatic unless you purchase extra gb's at $1 per gb and doesnt the wally still require the use of the dish--i would think you would have to access on demand directly through star and a computer or phone like dish anywhere-could be wrong how those work as i have never used either (on demand or anywhere)From what I have read since making that comment Starlink would most likely work at my home. I normally set up my Dish at home to get access to my DVR. I would check my laptop to see if Starlink works. I did the coverage test years ago and it showed frequent interruptions.all you need to do at the house is use the app for coverage test--50gb unless you are just emailing and face booking will get eaten up very quickly and it will shut of automatic unless you purchase extra gb's at $1 per gb and doesnt the wally still require the use of the dish--i would think you would have to access on demand directly through star and a computer or phone like dish anywhere-could be wrong how those work as i have never used either (on demand or anywhere)
I'd do it. You can even get one that works while driving.Pardon my naiveite, but is this the closest thread to a Starlink thread? I'm considering researching using Starlink with my RV (I only use it twice a year). I currently use a Dish Hopper for this purpose (because I can subscribe & unsubscribe) . I have Cable TV @ the house. However, I keep getting good feedback from campers on Starlink internet performance. I'm thinking about trying it with my RV, if I like it , I'd cut the cord to my house cable and use it at home as well. (Realizing I'd have to pay for some of the premium channels via internet apps, I'd have to research but I'd guess its more economical. Is there a thread for this subject or should I start one? Thanks
The only problem with that is each dish requires its own paid subscription.I'd do it. You can even get one that works while driving.
If it were me I'd permanently mount an antenna on top of rv and buy a second antenna at home that way all you have to do is move the modem only. However if you currently have cable internet the starlink won't be as good performance wise. Depending on how much you're streaming and what resolution you may not notice a difference though.
