What a joke Urban Meyer is!

Did you watch the whole game? Or are you doing what you accuse others of doing with the Raiders? Jumping to conclusions on what you saw in a highlight on youtube or BSPN.

LMAO!! Sometimes, you are just downright shameful. You can CLEARLY see he did something wrong. It does not matter what happened previously, just what is on video....and CLEARLY you see what he did. Some players have gotten suspended and kicked off teams for less....what you are saying is that what he did was perfectly ok in your eyes.

And bringing up the my team that has sucked monkey piss has NOTHING to do with this subject and shows you do not have a pot to piss in with your argument.;)

I could care less what a fan of Miami thinks about the Florida football program, even if it is all 10 of you. I could care less what an Ohio State fan thinks either.

When a player from Florida murdered on campus, than I will question Urban Meyer. When he grabs a kid from another program and punches him, than I will question Urban Meyer. If Sports Illustrated ever said we should drop football, again, than I will question Urban Meyer.

I love Brandon Meriweather now, but he got 1, yes 1, whole game for the melee with FIU in 2006.

Maybe you should of read the link Derwin provided, were the "victim" said he wasn't eye gouged, and that his team was doing the same thing, but you conviently don't care do you?

is this any different than what Michael Vick did when he was caught on tv stomping an opponents hand? IF I am not mistaken, didn't VaTech kick him off the team for that incident?

That was his younger brother Marcus, you know the one that ended up in jail before Michael. :D That family has more "issues" than Sports Illustrated.

And, yes, he was kicked off VT for that incident. The ACC has never put up with that kind of stuff.

Do you think he is gonna say something an look like 4th grade little girl crying to the media saying "he touched me.....tell him to stop touching me...."??!!
:haha:haha:haha

LMAO!! And as far as that SI report, that was ONE REPORTER'S opinion....not the consensus of the sports world....

And Brandon Meriweather WAS wrong for his INVOLVEMENT in the melee....but he did not start the melee....the harsh roughing the kicker AFTER a touchdown was....but I am sure you forgot that part of the night...

So you keep looking at your team through those rose colored glasses and drink the piped in kool-aid from that dispensor....

NEXT time, when you decide on bring info about OTHER teams, get ALL the facts...not just partial facts....

Your teams do no wrong according to you. Kool-aid, huh? Seems like you are the one who shoots it directly in your veins when it comes to your teams. Spikes was a retaliation also, but don't let facts get in the way of your hatred.

Your holier than thou attitude on this board is laughable. All hail the know it all Salsadancer7.

When is the next player on or from Miami going to be murdered? Who is the next woman Tom Cable going to beat up?

Yikes. You flipping the tables makes you sound awfully defensive. The original topic was about the eye gouging incident by your precious Gators. You defending him and spewing hatred in the other direction makes you look weak.

Salsa you are better off not engaging that person. It's like arguing with a 12 year old. In fact, it probably IS arguing with a 12 year old.

It's even worse than arguing with me!!! :D

Stop defending your valid points, by arguing with him you're just giving him relevance he does not deserve. Just let him run on and bury himself, we all know what a homer he sounds like. If a Florida player would have had his eyes gouged by a Georgia player he would be screaming for a suspension...

Him bringing up the murder in Connecticut seals the deal for everyone.

Just pointing out his and other posters hypocrisy.

No reason this had to be a stand alone thread, could of been in the college football thread.

This is why they hate Urban Meyer so much!! One of his star players is CLEARLY seen gouging some guys eyes for almost 15 seconds....and he suspends him for HALF A GAME??!!!
you left out the part that really makes it stink. The opponent is Vanderbilt. The NCAA should suspend Spikes. Gutless cowards.
